ok I cannot figure the answer out! try it!:
Good luck!
This is a 5th grade math problem. If you can open the spreadsheet, you’ll
see it’s a very small list of people who have gotten the correct number.
This is not a trick question. This is a real math problem so don’t say that
a bus has no legs.
There are 7 girls in a bus.
Each girl has 7 backpacks.
In each backpack, there are 7 big cats.
For every big cat there are 7 little cats.
Question: How many legs are there in the bus?
Ta-da… time to disprove math with… LOGIC! Which is part of math. :3 Okay, you can type whatever you want in response, but, begging for ten points won’t get you it… so, here we go!
(T = True and F = False, for those who don’t know)
P–>Q = T ; Statement: One is consecutive to two.
Q–>R = T ; Statement: Two is consecutive to three.
Therefore, P–>R = T ; Statement: One is consecutive to three.
Oho, you’re saying it’s not, but, let’s look at the math:
For P–>Q to be True, that means that If P = T, then that means Q must = T. If P = F, then than means that Q = T or Q = F. For Q–>R to be T, we already have the values of Q being either T or F. Which means if Q = T, then R = T. If Q = F, then R = T or R = F. Let’s simplify that to R = T and R = F. Now, P–>R is T because of this.
Yay!!!
To Samk: But, you could, you could!
My Math teacher was baffled how I did this, but, she agreed and said it was indeed correct.
! And she’s a Doctor (no, not like the one with a stethoscope) so I took her word for it being right.
I have innattentive A.D.D. and am looking for someway to make studying vocab and math more fun and interesting.

At a carnival game, there are 3 sets of 3 cans for a total of 9 cans. One set has the numbers 8, 10, and 7 on the cans. One set has the numbers 10, 7, and 9. One set has the numbers 7, 9, and 8. You get three throws and must knock down one, and only one, can from each set of cans. Your first throw scores the number on that can. Your second throw scores twice the number on the can. The third throw scores three times the number on the can. To win a prize, you must score exactly 50 points, no more, no less. Describe precisely how you can win a prize.
Thanks
Part of your child’s development is learning various math concepts. While you may think in numbers, there are simple math concepts that children learn that don’t involved number games. Some of the abstract concepts your child should be learning at a young age is identifying shapes, categorizing, learning number concepts, weights, and more. In many cases, one of the best ways to help your child develop the math skills that he needs is by allowing them to play kids math games. Here is a closer look at important concepts and games that can help your child learn those concepts more effectively.
Basic Counting Skills
Before your child really realizes the value of numbers, they should be learning basic counting skills. This helps them to become familiar with numbers, even before they realize what the numbers really mean. There are a variety of kids math games that you can use to help them hone these skills. Consider using special number songs, enjoy finger playing games, or take spare moments and count for fun with your child.
Meaningful Counting Skills
After your child has developed their basic counting skills, then children need to learn about meaningful counting where they understand what each number represents. Consider games that involve counting objects, letting them touch the objects as they are counting. Blocks are great for children that are learning to count meaningfully because they can touch and play with the blocks while they are counting.
Comparing Objects and Sizes
Children need to learn to compare objects and their sizes as well. A great game you can make at home is big, medium, little. Use toys or bowls to illustrate the concept. You can use three bowls of different sizes and then hide a favorite toy under the largest bowl. Tell your child that they can find their toy under the bowl that is the biggest. Then let them find the toy. You can repeat this with the little and medium bowls as well. This will help them to realize the different sizes of these objects.
Learning Shapes
Learning shapes is an important part of child development when it comes to math skills. Kids math games can help with this concept as well. One great idea is to take some construction paper, cut various shapes from the paper, and then secure them to the floor. Have your child dance with music and when you stop the music, tell them to go stand on a specific shape. This can be fun with multiple children, as long as you have enough of one shape for everyone. As you continue to play this game, they’ll become more familiar with the shapes while having a great time.
Of course, these are only a few of the math concepts that your child should be learning as they develop. Other concepts they should learn include measuring, patterns, writing numbers, recognizing numbers, putting objects in order, estimating, adding, and even subtracting. For each of these concepts, find helpful kids math games to help them learn these concepts while having fun.
Kids maths can often be a dreaded subject for everyone. Thats why Itz4Kidz Kids Toys have a range of fun kids maths games that the whole family can enjoy while helping a child to learn essential skills.
Your child needs a private maths tutor if you don’t have the time to help with this all important subject. Affordable private tuitions are available to help your children achieve their potential best. Individual attention is one of the key steps in motivating children to succeed by overcoming their difficulties in any subject. A private tutor can focus on the areas where your child needs guidance and help with concentration and focus which is important to learning.
Children have different learning styles so teaching styles should suit individual needs. A good teacher is aware of the differences among learners and should accommodate each child’s challenges and requirements, in dealing with a subject. As a parent you want your child to learn well and succeed and you can help if you understand your child’s learning pattern and what kind of tutoring is required to enhance skills.
Math is a subject which many children find tough as it has many twists and turns. At the same time it is a subject where your child can score if he knows how to apply his knowledge well. It is the foundation subject for most career oriented courses. If you help your child achieve in this subject you are helping him to gain self esteem and success. If you don’t have the time, employing a math tutor will be very beneficial, especially a private maths tutor who makes the entire learning process fun for your child.
Different Ways To Make Your Child Achieve
* Children can learn through different tutoring methods. In home, learning centre tutoring or online tutoring. Whatever type is adopted, your aim is for your child to succeed. Try to understand which learning suits your child. Some may learn better in a group environment and others learn well with a private tutor. Learning should be interactive and interesting using questions, quizzes and draw the child’s attention and interest.
* Study tips for your child should include a good night’s sleep, healthy diet, quiet and undisturbed place to study. Studying should be done for a few hours with adequate breaks so that boredom does not set in. Time management is important in scheduling study hours. Studying only before a test or exam can result in undue stress. It should be well planned.
* Praising the child’s attempts to learn and reward is very important to build self esteem. Positive encouragement is vital to help your child’s succeed. Harsh criticism can have adverse effects.
* Understanding math is a building block to success. You can make it less intimidating by applying it to daily life situations such as shopping to make learning fun. Math can be taught through games and you can be sure it will be learning through entertainment. Children have short attention spans and need to have fun and interesting ways to learn a tough subject like math. It is the most common subject which needs tutoring apart from regular class.
Getting a private maths tutor is easy, as there are many skilled teachers available online. These teachers are specially trained to deal with different kinds of teaching methods which suit each child’s capability. After all you want your child to be a success in life.
