what kind of camera type u recommend me for a starter in photography?

i heard D40 is not that expensive and i can change the lenses. please gimme some useful tips! should i get my shoot on print for my portfolio or/and i make digital portfolio with my photo shoot. i’m thinking to apply for scholarship into photograpahy school.

 
 

Can anyone give me advice on taking my photo with a digital camera?

I was awarded a scholarship and am unable to attend the awards ceremony that is out of town. The school would like me to email them a photograph of myself so they can publish it in their newsletter. I want to take a decent photo. I can’t afford to go to a photographer. Any tips including what to use as a backdrop, what to wear in the photo, etc…

 
 

Are you required to have a diploma in order to get into a junior community college ?

I’m a senior at high school and got a full athletic scholarship to a junior community college out of state, but I found out that I didn’t pass the Reading FCAT and in FL you’re required to pass it to get the diploma! I need help to get out of this hole please! Any tips ? I also already signed the letter of intent.

 
 

What kind of information will I need to memorize for college NROTC?

I am an incoming freshmen and have recieved an NROTC scholarship to Embry Riddle and want to do the best I can. What things such as a slogan or random US Navy info will I need to memorize when I get there? Also I will greatly appreciate any other tips from people who have been there done that.

I am 20 years old. I made about $13000 dollars from two jobs, some of the $ was tips.I was a (waiter) last year. My father claimed me….He recieved all his taxes back, because he is working abroad for the military. any ways… I am a full time student … took out some school loans to pay for school…. on a scholarship that pays about 80% of my tuition. i live at home. and thats about it ….

 
 

How do you write a LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION?

I am looking for some tips or a template for a Letter of Recommendation for my employee. She is trying to get a scholarship to a trade school. She is great and very intelligent. I am just looking for a generic template because I have never written one before, and I don’t want a poor letter to negatively affect her. She has so many great attributes I could go on and on. I just need help with how to start and what is most important to include.

I have to pay for everything by myself. My family cant afford to help, and my grades arent good enough for a scholarship. Also, im terrified to go by myself. I’m not too social, will i still meet people reguardless? Anyone have any good tips for college?
