Autopsy determines dog bites killed Calaveras man
An autopsy on a man found dead after a pair of pit bulls attacked him at his Mountain Ranch home confirmed that the dog-inflicted injuries caused his death. Capt. Jim Macedo, of the Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office, said the dogs severed an artery in Jerry Yates’ arm.
