I am planning on going to Community College of Philadelphia. I will taking a Nursing program. I am from the Philippines and I am 17 years old: high school senior. I move in the US 9 years ago. So, basically I attended elementary school from 4th grade to 8th grade. And now I am a high school senior student. My friends kept on saying that we have to take the TOEFL test if English was not our first language. I am wondering do I still have to take this TOEFL test?
thnx for answering everyone. i did go to that site and i read that CCP does not require applicants to take it.

i have appeared for the toefl test twice in two months period and scored 67 both the times.now the deadlines?

i have appeared for the toefl test twice in two months period and scored 67 both the times.now the deadlines for the universities is july 16, 2009 for the spring semester.that means i will have no new score in my application for admission . can i send my toefl scores later to the universities . my gre score is 1360 . please help me i am running out of time though presently i have very low score at toefl (67).thanks

About study for TOEFL test!?

Hey?I am an exchanged student from China. I am preparing for the TOEFL in May, which means I have about 2 months. And my goal is 90 or above.
One special thing is that I am now in America but I will go back to China in three months, so the environment here is different from China.
My question is should I focus on practice test and vocabularies or
focus on watching News on TV, reading different magazines?
I am so confused because my teacher told me don’t do any practice until a week before the test but expand my reading.. However, I am kinda of afraid to not to do any practice…
PLEASE, PLEASE HELP!!! I want to know what should I do?!!
